even before we decided to get fully engaged into our make-picasso-famous scheme, he seems to be making waves on his own already.
a fellow maadster told us that he saw picasso’s picture on his friend’s msn avatar and he thought his friend knows us! but apparently his friend got the picture from somebody in the US..and i’m not sure who managed to rip our picture off flickr but we’re highly amused nevertheless.
that being said, he really is a handsome fella isn’t it?

mypaper’s issue today! 30 january 2007. first thing xin could say was ‘i look worried’. indeed she did cos she was frowning! it was a nice full page article on crafting with instructions in mandarin and some tips too. so go pick up your copy today and learn some crafting/sewing tips! we’ll try to post up some simple stuff soon on our website/blog so keep an eye out for those.

Swirl has this awesome swop idea and i’m sure it’ll pick up elsewhere too. what other ways to spend a lazy afternoon then to dump your old clothes and pick up some new treasures, and in a cosy atmosphere topped off with yummy cupcakes? xin and i couldn’t resist checking out the 2nd swop on Jan 14th (i know, we’re doing some backlogged blogging here) since we missed the first one. and it was just awesome! we picked up many cool stuff and to see a sample of what other swirl girls have and what we have picked up, have a look here and see for yourself! and what i contributed

i’ve been a little sluggish at work this month while xin busy making all sorts of new goodies! in time to come we’ll be posting up small tutorials to get you started on your own craft project. we’ll be happy with any suggestion of ideas for us as well

what is exciting for us is that xin will be having her first solo exhibition titled “Pleased to Meet You” as a followup from our current series of Valentine’s Day special.this is her 2nd (proudest) exhibition after Art Sydney in Sydney, 2005 where a couple of her paintings were sold.

xin was magazine-browsing at MPH and caught sight of a feature on us in Seventeen magazine, Jan 07 issue, and we didn’t even know anything about it! thanks, Seventeen!

i saw a terrible accident on the road today. 1 bike, 2 cars. all look damaged. within half a day on the road, i also saw 3 ambulances at different points. why do so many people still speed despite the rain? please remember that some people have lousy wipers, and alot of times people can’t really see the markings on the roads. please drive with consideration for others, yourself and your loved ones! can somebody start inventing glow-in-the-dark road marking paint? i think it will be really useful. so yes, enjoy the rain (i do so love the rain) but do take care too.

there’s something so charmingly beautiful about picasso. and that’s his brother 胖胖 behind him. a rare moment for them to be so close together and as usual, in assymetrical positions. they seem to fancy doing that alot. one of those lazy days again. and he caught me taking candid shots. picasso (moutasched kitty) looking grouchy. so Xin did up this little poster of them:
